PICK-POCKETS
& BAG SNATCHERS
When
in the street or a public place, bags should always be carried with
the flap next to your body and the zip to the front. You are most
vulnerable to pick pockets when boarding public transport
and in busy shops.
From time to time thieves target shoe shops; take all bags
with you when you walk to the mirror.
In pubs and restaurants, place bags away from others passing
by and secure the straps under the leg of your chair or table. Some
premises such as pubs or restaurants may have Chelsea Clips
under the bar or tables.
Rucksacks can be especially vulnerable especially when being
carried on your back. Always remember to conceal valuables at the
bottom of it.
