MOBILE PHONES - IMEI NUMBER

There has been an increase in the number of thefts of mobile phones. Thieves may be watching you, so please don't become another victim and keep your phone out of sight. When using your phone on the street or in a public place be extra vigilant and aware of those around you.

If it is stolen, your service provider can block your phone permanently using your unique IMEI (serial) number. Sometimes they already have a record of the number, sometimes they will need you to tell them what it is.

To display your phone's IMEI number, dial *#06# record the number and keep it in a safe place.
